On February 24th, 2022 Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This is an unprovoked attack on a sovereign democratic nation.
As a Ukrainian-Canadian, I am terrified for my family that lives in Ukraine. I fear for their safety, their health and wellbeing and the loss of their peaceful way of life. As a human being, I am devastated by the complete disregard Putin has for human beings and humanity.
As we all watch this horror play out from the safety of wherever we are, we may feel lost and unsure of what we can do. This is of course normal. I have had so many friends, family and colleagues reach out asking what they can to do to Stand With Ukraine.
To address this, I recorded an episode of The HR Mentor Podcast called Stand With Ukraine. You can listen to it on Podbean here: https://thehrmentor.podbean.com/e/46-stand-with-ukraine/
or find it on Spotify or Apple Podcasts.
In this episode I discuss many ways to help and reference different organizations that can support whatever form of help you want to engage in. Below are a series of links and notes to help you get started.
